Course- Par 70. 7,204 yards. Defending champion is Lowry! The winds will be key. High risk and high reward course. You need to have an complete game aka Rick run good.
$12,000 to $10,000- Rahm has been on fire and up top is for sure trustworthy to me. It’s hard to not play him. Brooks can do well at this course and will show up here. Johnson is meh to me and not really my favorite. Rory at this price is fine to me but I would rather pivot to Rahm or Brooks. Xander sets up well here and can bounce back in an huge way here.
$9,900 to $9,000- Bryson in this range is super interesting and the guy I am still trying to figure out here. Thomas is an nice pivot from Spieth who sets you well here. Morikawa can make this a birdie feast. Hatton just sets up all in all well here, this is his course to thrive on.
$8,900 to $8,000- Cantlay tops this tier and I don’t mind him. Reed has been okay so far and in play. Casey can do well here but his experience here is not the greatest. Webb has been off but once again I can see him bounce back in an huge way here. Scheffler has never played in an open like this so that scares me. Adam Scott is an guy who with the putting actually is there! Finau has good history here and in my player pool.
$7,900 to $7,000- Berger is an lock and I can’t believe he is this cheap. There is your value for the week. Leishman is an GPP option who is all over the place. I don’t trust Day here whatsoever. Noren has picked up his game and has experience here. Homa in open championship is not there for me. This will be the week I am crossing him off. Grace is in play to me along with English. Woodland just needs to drive and has an shot. Nieman is an heck of an price here and the recent course history is there. What to do with Fowler? The putting is better and I may take an shot. Palmer and Cink are both low owned values I love down here.
$6,900 to lower- Bradley down here is so shocking to me and too cheap especially with his around to green play. Kisner recent form is getting up there. Bland is doing well at the Scottish open and can get it done here. Burns all the way down here? My goodness how do you not play him? Munoz is an great option and so is Ortiz!
