This week is what we call a Major hangover. A very weak field where long shots are live, as we’ve seen in previous years. This doesn’t necessarily mean that a long shot will win though, as they are long shots for a reason, but they are certainly live! Let’s dive in as we’re looking to go back-to-back after hitting Cam Smith 28/1 last week!

Out rights:

Hideki Matsuyama 18/1: I know what you’re thinking, Hideki has had a very weird past few starts but let’s be real. When Hideki tees it up this week, he will be one of the most talented, if not the most talented, in this field. His odds right now are the same as Cameron Tringale. Get this number before it drops because this is a guy who’s won a MAJOR. Let’s grab Hideki for a great number!

Sahith Theegala 22/1: Sahith would be rookie of the year at the moment if it wasn’t for Cam Young absolutely scorching it this year. Sahith has been competitive in a lot of PGA events this year, even with tough competition which makes this week very exciting for his backers. As much as I wish this number was a bit higher, I still really like Sahith’s odds to compete and win this week.

Adam Svensson 35/1: Svensson is a very popular pick this week as he’s put together a great set of finishes as of late. A great ball striker, Svensson has plenty of upside and gets a nice number here as I will be very excited to see how he does this week in a weak field.

Tom Hoge 80/1: Hoge is one of those booms or bust guys that make him a very live long shot to win this tournament. I was lucky enough to get him at 100/1 but he’s definitely been a popular bet as he’s already dropped to 80/1. Jump on him before he drops again!

Adam Schenk 130/1: Schenk is a perfect example of long shots being live. He’s won on the PGA Tour already in his career in a similar strength of field as we will see at the 3M Open. I really like his ability to be accurate off the tee to stay out of the water at this hazardous course.
