Week one is officially here and I am so excited about the start of the season! We have a showdown slate on our hands featuring two amazing teams!

Bills

At the top, Josh Allen is an elite quarterback that is a must-play option on this slate. Allen has all the tools to thrive. Going to the running back position is where it is tricky. The Bills are a team that is throwing at a high rate compared to running the ball. Singletary is the first man getting the run and I am interested in him on his price. Moss is next up and the goal line back but in the past, we know he can be a healthy scratch. Moss is cheap but comes with great risk. Cook is the third guy in line who can see maybe 0-5 snaps. Diggs is the star receiver on the team who can be an excellent combo with Allen of course. Davis has been the talk all across social media that will carry massive ownership. Davis is going to be key to the showdown slate. I like Davis but not playing him a ton based on how highly owned he will be. The third receiver on the team is all over the place. Crowder or Mckinzie can line up as the third man but not high on either receiver. Knox is the main tight end on the team and certainly a red zone threat.

Rams

Starting with Stafford, the injury doesn't scare me whatsoever and I still like him in all formats. Akers is the number one back on this team but I am not high on him, to be honest. Akers is coming back from a massive injury and much rather go to Henderson at a massive cheaper price tag. On the receiving end, Kupp is a monster...nothing else to say other than you need to play him in all lineups. Allen Robinson is the new man in LA and he has found his new home! Robinson is a great receiver who has thrived with bad quarterbacks but now has Stafford in his favor. Robinson is cheap on DraftKings who I want in most of my lineups. I can't wait to watch Robinson shine. After Kupp and Robinson, the receiving corps for the Rams gets a little bit dicey. Van Jefferson should be the third man but is dealing with a knee injury. The head coach of the Rams who is Sean McVay stated that Van Jefferson's status is up in the air for this game. McCutcheon was great in the preseason and could see snaps and is certainly cheap on the slate. Skowronek was great last year on the team in the regular season and is more than likely going to the most snaps as the number three receiver. Tutu Atwell was a surprise star in the preseason and his price tag makes him a flier. Now onto the tight end position, Higbee has been a familar target for Stafford and might pick up the slack with the Rams only having two-star receivers. The price tag is high for Higbee but could be a sneaky option.

Defense and Kickers

This showdown slate in my opinion will be high scoring based on how high-powered both these teams are. I am staying away from defenses as a whole. On each team, I would not mind sprinkling in a kicker based on the betting total for this game.
