NBA DK DFS 11/14/24 Breakdown

We have a one-game slate today and it is a great one! Time to dig in and make some money!

DFS Breakdown

Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic is up top and the highest-priced option of course on the slate. He hasn't scored less than 50 DraftKings since Halloween. Pay it and move on. The choice though is can you fit him in at the captain spot with the value on the slate. Kyrie Irving is the mystery man of the slate for me. He has been super up and down in games. In one game he will score 50 DraftKings points and in the next barely scrap 30 DraftKings points. Klay Thompson is dependent on the three-point shot falling for him. PJ Washington is questionable and that will be the biggest impact on Naji Marshall. If PJ Washington is in, I don't like either him or Marshall at all. Daniel Gafford is slightly priced higher than Derek Lively. I am leaning towards Lively with his ceiling compared to Gafford's floor on DraftKings. The rest of the team is out of play to me.

Utah Jazz

We have injuries on the team that will impact the slate. To start at the top, Lauri Markkanen is the highest-priced option on the team. He isn't my favorite option on the team but you can't help but add him to your player pool. Walker Kessler is out which will open up a ton of usage for John Collins. The price tag is high for Collins but he is well worth it. He is my second favorite captain on DraftKings. Keyonte George, Collin Sexton, and Jordan Clarkson are all similar plays. Coin flip for all of them but I lean towards Clarkson due to being the cheaper one out of three. Kyle Filipowski will see a bump up in minutes and he is a great value player. Brice Sensabaugh and Cody Williams will see the low end of 10 minutes while Isaiah Collier will see close to 15 minutes.
