It is the best time of the year and I am pumped for the NFL to be back! We have a nice showdown slate featuring the Ravens and the Chiefs. It is a epic showdown that we saw last year in the NFL playoffs. I am ready and let's dig into the Draftkings slate!
Baltimore Ravens

On the Ravens, we have a interesting running back that was added into the backfield by the name of Derrick Henry. In my opinion, it was a great addition to this offense in where we normally saw a rotation of running backs. We will talk about Derrick Henry shortly. At the quarterback spot, Lamar Jackson as the highest priced player is well worth it. The rushing ability he brings to the table can certainly help pay off the price tag. Circling back to Derrick Henry, he is a pure GPP option on this slate. The goal line work will either be a quarterback sneak or Derrick Henry pounding it in. The pass catchers are worrisome due to the rushing attack on the team. Zay Flowers is possibly a fade for me or someone I am sprinkling in lineups due to the inconsistency of Draftkings points. Mark Andrews at the tight end position is way too cheap. The production he brings to the table is out of this world compared to his Draftkings price tag. I love him at the captain spot simply based on the low price tag. Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor are options I am not looking at and if they beat me, they beat me. Justin Tucker at the kicker posistion is a player I don't mind adding into my lineup but Justice Hill slightly priced lower is a GPP option. Justice Hill can pass catches in the backfield and a third down back. Onto the Chiefs breakdown!
Kansas City Chiefs
This team is real interesting to break down based on the receiver position as well. Starting off at the quarterback position, Patrick Mahomes is well in play on this slate of course. I wouldn't fade him in your lineups. The next highest priced Chief is Travis Kelce. This is where it gets interesting. The price tag is high for Travis Kelce and he might be a player I squeeze out of my lineups to get to other high priced options. Travis Kelce is getting older and I rather get to the wide receivers. Speaking of wide receivers, I love the price tags of Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy. Rashee Rice can be a PPR monster and the air yards will be there for him. The rookie in Xavier Worthy is too cheap as the number two recviever without Hollywood Brown playing. Isiah Pacheco is another pass catching back that I will sprinkle in my lineups correlated with Patrick Mahomes. Carson Steele could see a few snaps and at the bare minimum price tag is worth to take a peek at. He can allow you to pay up for high priced options. Samaje Perine just signed with the team and the price tag is okay, but I like Carson Steele more due to him getting run with the team during the preseason.
