Commanders Breakdown

The Commanders are in a tough spot with Jayden Daniel out with an injury. This means Marcus Mariota. This is not a matchup that should be easy for Marcus Mariota to step in, especially at his DraftKings salary. At the running back position, Jacory Croskey-Merritt has been inconsistent this season. He’s had a couple of blow-up games, but this game isn’t going to be one for him. Jeremy McNichols isn’t seeing much run out of the backfield, but is seeing targets as a receiving back. Chris Rodriguez is overpriced due to his minimal role on the team. At the wide receiver position is where things can get messy. Terry McLaurin is available to play, and this will be his return since playing in Week 3. His role could be limited, or he could be playing over 90 percent of the snaps. Priced above him is Deebo Samuel, who appears to be overpriced with Terry McLaurin healthy enough to play. We have Luke McCaffrey, Chris Moore, and Jaylin Lane left. One of those receivers will be phased out completely, but it is unknown which one that will be. At the tight end spot, Zach Ertz is coming off two good games and will look to be a security blanket for Marcus Mariota. He will be an excellent ownership play.

Chiefs Breakdown

The Chiefs should steamroll the Commanders, but we will see! Patrick Mahomes is finally priced where he should be on a showdown, and he is still a great option at the captain spot on DraftKings. At the running back position, Isiah Pacheco has been all over the place so far. I don’t know what to expect from him in this game. The matchup is great for him, though, and I like him in the flex position on DraftKings when no one will want to play him. Kareem Hunt will be the chalk option due to his price tag and low points for Isaiah Pacheco. Last but not least, Brashard Smith saw a ton more run last game due to the blowout of the game. I would much rather go with Kareem Hunt due to him being cheaper on DraftKings. At the wide receiver position, we get to play a roulette on who has the bigger game. Xavier Worthy saw the most snaps last game, and he might be the odd man out for me in this position. Rashee Rice is back and was Patrick Mahomes' guy last game. He is another captain option on this slate. Hollywood Brown had been up and down this season. If you are in the boom game, then expect two touchdowns out of Hollywood Brown. Juju Smith-Schuster is still seeing snaps and continues to see a few receptions. Tyquan Thornton is still seeing snaps as well, but is dependent on a long ball touchdown to pay off his price tag on DraftKings. With the receivers healthy now, Travis Kelce appears to be overpriced for his production this season.
