Lions Breakdown

What an interesting start to the season for the Detroit Lions. They are coming off a great win against the Chicago Bears. The DraftKings price tags are high, though, on this team. Starting at the quarterback spot, Jared Goff doesn't offer much rushing ability. He is coming off a huge five-touchdown game. I like him as a flex option as I expect them to pass the ball a ton being down. Jahmyr Gibbs is the highest-priced Lions player on the slate. He is a scary fade if you do fade him, but I certainly am trending that way. If you don't want to fade him, I like him as a flex option due to the check-down upside he brings. David Montgomery is the bruiser back and is splitting snaps with Jahmyr Gibbs. He is a touchdown or bust option. Craig Reynolds is a fade to me, who isn't seeing a ton of snaps. At the receiver spot, Amon-Ra St. Brown is coming off a blow-up game. I personally think you have to choose between him and Jahymr Gibbs in the flex role. Talking about boom or bust, the downfield threat, the guy who just got paid the big bucks, Mr. Jameson Williams. I like to make a rule with him on playing him only in the captain spot and not flex. Kalif Raymond is losing snaps to Isaac TesSla. I would much rather drop down to Isaac TesSla at a cheaper price point. The snaps are slowly increasing. At the tight end spot, Sam LaPorta is looking for a touchdown here this season, and I can see him earning one here. The matchup is in his favor. Brock Wright is seeing snaps, but overpriced to me. I am fading the Lions' defense. Jake Bates is in play, of course, as a kicker.

Ravens Breakdown

Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry's time to shine. This duo is insane, and I love watching them work on the field. Lamar Jackson is the guy I am loving in the flex role. You can trust him as the captain, but it makes your lineups difficult and condensed to build due to salary options. At the running back spot, Derrick Henry is an interesting option for what to do. He is coming off a massive game in week one and a dud match in week two. I am leaning toward Lamar Jackson over Derrick Henry. The backup running back is Justice Hill. The season has not been so great for Justice Hill, but positive regression is coming soon. The price tag is great on DraftKings. Time to talk about the wide receiver position and the number one option that I like at captain is Zay Flowers. He has boom potential and could break the slate. DeAndre Hopkins has turned back the clock and is catching touchdowns at will. I like him as a value and flex option. Rashod Bateman is getting overlooked and seems to be the forgotten man. That makes him intriguing due to this being a high-scoring game. Tylan Wallace is a speedster, but is slightly overpriced for the amount of snaps he is getting, along with Devontez Walker. It is hard to imagine Devontez Walker seeing two touchdowns again in this game. At the tight end position, Mark Andrews is due for a great game, and he needs it, having seen less than 10 yards in each game. I love him in this matchup. Isaiah Likely is out of this game. I am not on the Ravens defense. Tyler Loop has looked great fantasy-wise, and I am liking him over Jake Bates.
