Wild card Football! We have a nice two game slate on our hands for the NFC side of the slate!

Los Angeles Rams at Carolina Panthers

  • The Rams are 10.5-point favorites

  • The over/under is coming in at 46.5 points.

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

  • The Bears are 1.5-point favorites

  • The over/under is coming in at 45.5 points.

Quarterback Breakdown

The quarterback spot features Matthew Stafford up top, and this is a scary spot for him due to the matchup. Caleb Williams looked good when facing the Packers a few weeks ago. I don't trust him, though entireley going into this matchup. Jordan Love is the interesting option, where he could either make or break the slate. Last but not least, we have Bryce Young, who would be the quarterback people fade on the slate, but I am intrigued simply due to his DraftKings price tag.

Running Back Breakdown

The running spot has Josh Jacobs and Kyrien Williams up top. When picking which one to play, I would lean toward Kyrien Williams due to Josh Jacobs recent games. The play that could pop off on the slate is playing both Josh Jacobs and Kyrien Williams in the same lineup on DraftKings. D'Andre Swift is someone I am not looking at, along with Kyle Monangai. The Panthers' running backs are full fade for me, and I would much rather go with the passing game.

Wide Receiver Breakdown

On the Wide Receivers, this is where the fun begins on the slate. We will start on the Rams' side. Puka Nacua's raw production on the slate is a must-play in all formats. Davante Adams is expected to play, and I love his upside due to the touchdown ability he brings to the table. The rest of the receives on the Rams are out of play. On the Carolina side of the ball, Tetairoa McMillan is the difference maker on the slate. I understand fading him, but I like him slightly in this matchup. Jalen Coker is still cheap and an excellent value. The late touchdown helped him last game hit value. I am not on the rest of the Carolina receivers. The Packers are tough to pin down due to the production being all over the place. Christian Watson is injury-prone but had a spike week in Week 17. The downfield ability makes him in play. Romeo Doubs is the consistent option compared to Christian Watson. Jayden Reed has been super up and down, but we know a pop week could happen here. On the Bears, Rome Odunze should be in line to play, but he is a big fade to me. DJ Moore has looked awful the last two weeks, and ownership will be at an all-time low. Luther Burden is a similar value to Jalen Coker that is heavily in play.

Tight End Breakdown

The tight end spot is going to be funneled by the Rams. Colston Loveland is up top, coming off two monster games. I would proceed with caution in this spot, but I do like him. Colby Parkinson looked great, and ownership will be on him due to his performance in the last game. Don't count out Tyler Higbee, who also had an amazing previous game. Tommy Tremble is a touchdown or bust value. Cole Kmet is a fade for me. Luke Musgrave is coming off two goose eggs, and I am out on him.
