Monday night football! We have a great game on our hands featuring two sophomore quarterbacks!
The Minnesota Vikings at the Chicago Bears, where the Vikings are 1.5-point favorites!
Vikings Breakdown
Starting with the Vikings, JJ McCarthy is taking the job, and it is his time to shine. The price tag is interesting enough that it can make or break him. The running back spot is intriguing, featuring Jordan Mason and Aaron Jones. The snaps will be a telltale sign of what to expect, of course, but this is week one! Allegedly, the snaps will be split. Things change! I am expecting Aaron Jones to get a ton of ownership, being only $400 more on DraftKings. At the wide receiver position, Justin Jefferson is alpha, and he may be a tough click if you don't think he is fully healthy, but he is hard not to add into your flex spot. Adam Thielen is cheap, along with Josh Nailor. One of them will need to step up instead of Jordan Addison, who is absent. Might I add that Adam Thielen is back where he belongs in Minnesota! Both options are extremely cheap. Tai Felton, the rookie, is close to the minimum price who could earn snaps. Last but not least, TJ Hockenson could be a security blanket for JJ McCarthy, and the price tag is nice if he finds the end zone.

Chicago Breakdown
What to do with Caleb Williams is the million-dollar question. The price tag is barely over JJ McCarthy. The preseason went well for him, but this is the regular season, so time will tell. The running back room is banged up to a pulp. Travis Homer and Deion Hankins are on the Injury Reserve. Roschon Johnson is questionable with a foot injury. That leaves DeAndre Swift, who could pay off his high price tag, being the healthy lead back. Next in line would be Kyle Monangai, the rookie back, at a cheap value price tag on DraftKings. At the wide receiver spot, DJ Moore is the alpha, but he is another high price to me on DraftKings. Rome Odunze's connection could shine with Caleb Williams this year or could be inconsistent as can be. The third receiver is the mystery spot that is yet to be seen on who will step up. The rookie Luther Burden seems to be the option and is coming in the middle of the range on DraftKings. Can we trust a rookie, though, in his first regular-season game? Olamide Zaccheaus is the veteran who looked good in the preseason. At the tight end position, Cole Kmet and Colston Loveland. The one with the higher price tag is Colston Loveland. I don't like the splitting of snaps between the two.
