On the Cowboys, Dak Prescott is certainly in play at captain, and I love his attack on this slate. At running back, the injury to Malik Davis makes things interesting. I like Javonte Williams to carry the load. Emari Demercado is underpriced for what his role can be. At wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb is a must, but the question is: who gets the captain spot? CeeDee Lamb can make himself a case. The upside is certainly there. George Pickens is the cheaper option that might be forgotten about. The wide receiver three-option is where things get interesting. Ryan Flournoy showed flashes last season. I am not high on Jonathan Mingo and would much rather go up to Flournoy or drop down to the special teams star in KaVontae Turpin. At the tight end spot, Jake Ferguson is an okay price, but I like to go to the receivers instead. I don't often speak about the kickers, but Brandon Aubrey is always in play.
New York Giants
On the Giants, Jaxson Dart has the rushing ability to score fantasy points. On the running backs, Cam Akattebo is a decent price tag on DraftKings, especially with his pass-catching abilities. The backup running backs are scattered now. The newly signed Najee Harris could sneak in some runs. Tyrone Tracy, I think, is being phased out. Devin Singletary could be phased out as well. If I had to pick, it would be Tracy over Singletary, though. On the wide receivers, Malik Nabers is a game-time decision. I want no part of him either way. Darius Slayton was released. Malachi Fields is a rookie, and the price tag is intriguing for the number two wide receiver. Well, Odell Beckham Junior we know. is explosive and is cheap on this slate. How many snaps will he play? We will see! Darnell Mooney can certainly catch a few passes, but I don't think the yardage will be there for him. At the tight end position, Isaiah Likely is coming to a new team and is the number one option. I like his DraftKings price tag and his ability. Theo Johnson is more of a run-blocking option, but I could see him in the end zone.
