Thursday Night Football! Time to dig in and start off Week 14!

Dallas Cowboys at Detroit Lions

  • The Lions are 3-point favorites

  • The over/under is coming in at 54.5 points.

Cowboys Breakdown

The Cowboys are on a run, and this will be another tough test coming into this game. Dak Prescott has been great and the DraftKings price tag shows it. I do like him here coming into this game. The passing attack is the way to go rather than the rushing attack. Speaking of running backs, Javonte Williams has been consistent. This matchup is going to be tough for him. Malik Davis sprang off with a long touchdown last game, and he should see more snaps coming into this game. The wide receivers are the best part of the team. We have two elite options up top. CeeDee Lamb is now priced over George Pickens. It has been back and forth depending on who has the better fantasy production. Ryan Flournoy is seeing a couple of targets here or there. I would rather go to the cheaper options on the team as Kavonte Turpin, who saw great production last game. Don't forget he plays special teams as well, which could lead to fantasy production. Jalen Tolbert is a fade for me coming into this game. At the tight end spot, Jake Ferguson is seeing five to six targets a game. The Lions are decent against the tight ends, and I would rather go to the wide receivers.

Lions Breakdown

The Lions are coming off a loss to the Green Bay Packers. The Lions are at home, so this is their bread and butter for a matchup. Jared Goff is much better at home, and this will be a smash spot against the Dallas Cowboys' passing defense. At the running back spot, Jahmyr Gibbs busted last game for our DraftKings lineups. The rushing defense has significantly improved for the Dallas Cowboys. The way Jahmyr Gibbs would pay off his DraftKings price tag would be check-downs to him and receiving touchdowns. The price tag on David Montgomery is way too high for his role and this matchup. At the wide receiver position, the big news is going to be Amon-Ra St. Brown being injured and coming into this game questionable. This is a matchup where Jameson Williams could thrive and make a significant impact. I am loving him at the captain spot. Isaac TeSlaa saw the increase in snaps and played most of the game last week, which has caused his DraftKings price tag to go up. We know the touchdown ability is there for him. In the absence of Amon-Ra St. Brown, Tom Kennedy stepped in and filled the role well in the last game. I do like him a ton as a flex option on DraftKings coming off of four targets. At the tight end spot, Brock Wright is out injured for this game. Ross Dwelley saw the most snaps and is coming off a three-target game. I am not high on the tight ends in this spot against the Dallas Cowboys.
