Thursday football and what a time to be alive! Week two here we come!
The Washington Commanders against the Green Bay Packers
Breakdown of each team below!
Washington Commanders
The Commanders are coming off a win, and the team didn't need to pass the ball a ton due to being up against the New York Giants. Jayden Daniels looked great on the ground, and he will look to get it down on the ground rushing. Speaking of rushing, Austin Ekeler is banged up and didn't see a ton of carries last game. It was the rookie running back who erupted in Jacory Croskey Merritt. The DraftKings price tag isn't cheap for Jacory Merritt. The check down for the Lions, who played the Packers, was working, so will that benefit Austin Ekeler here? Chris Rodriguez was a surprise inactive in the last game. The wide reciever spot is the interesting one. Terry McLaurin had a dud game, and if he has an average game again, the DraftKings price tag is too high for him. Deebo Samuel had a rushing touchdown and is always in play due to the ground attack. Deebo Samuel was the go-to guy for Jayden Daniels, and I like him possibly in the DraftKings captain spot. Jaylin Lane is a dart throw value but slightly expensive. Zach Ertz rounds out the tight end position and is typically the security blanket for Jayden Daniels.

Green Bay Packers
What a win for the Green Bay Packers against the Detroit Lions. Jordan Love, on paper, had an average game, but looked great if you were watching the game's flow. I want both quarterbacks in this game on DraftKings and will try to build that way. Josh Jacobs is the guy I have no idea what to think of, to be honest. The DraftKings price tag is high, and will it be worth it if he scores twice? That is the question that will be answered! I am leaning towards the quarterbacks over Josh Jacobs, but he could be a nice pivot. The backup running backs I am fading on the Green Bay Packers. The wide receiver room is banged up, and the targets will be spread out. The two main players I am looking at on DraftKings are Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed. Don't count out Matthew Golden as my third guy; I am sprinkling him into lineups. Romeo Doubs looked great in the last game and was a downfield threat. Jayden Reed is the speedster who can break away for a touchdown. Savion Williams is a dart throw option, and I like him over Jaylin Lane based on the DraftKings price tag. At the tight end spot, Tucker Kraft is also a viable target to look at.
