Thursday Night Football Showdown Breakdown!

Seattle Seahawks at Denver Broncos

  • The Seahawks are 1.5-point favorites

  • Over/under is set at 42.5 points

Seattle Seahawks

On the Seahawks, Sam Darnold has been subpar so far this season. I do like this matchup for him, though, to bounce back. At the running back position, Emmanuel Wilson is the lead back, with Zach Charbonnet not returning. I do like his matchup along with George Holani. The DraftKings price tag is nice for Holani, and he has pass-catching ability. At the wide receiver position, Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be the chalkiest option at the captain spot on DraftKings. Rashid Shaheed is always a boom-or-bust option. I lean toward him rather than Cooper Kupp at a similar price tag. I am not on Tory Horton. At the tight end spot, I do like AJ Barner at a cheap price tag still, and he is seeing great targets.

Denver Broncos

On the Broncos, Sean Payton took over play calling from Davis Webb. They inched out a win against the Chargers. At the quarterback spot, Bo Nix has been up and down so far this season. I don't mind him at flex on DraftKings. The running back situation is interesting. JK Dobbins is priced over RJ Harvey. RJ Harvey got fewer snaps last game. I feel like one of them will be optimal. At wide receiver, Jaylen Waddle saw targets but no yards last game. I'd rather drop down to Courtland Sutton. Pat Bryant being out makes me interested in the lower-tier options. Troy Franklin is too cheap for his snaps, which are increasing. Lil Jordan Humphrey is another cheap option I am interested in. At the tight end spot, Evan Engram is another fade, more than likely.
