Course- Colonial Country Club, par 70, 7,209 yards! Fort Worth, Texas baby! Love Texas courses at my home! Jason Kokrak defending champ! Purse is 8.4 million! Top 65 and ties!
$12,000 to $10,000- Spieth will be in his home and he can do well here with ease, ownership will be super high on him. Scottie is the guy I want though and love his upside. Thomas coming off a win will be high owned and want to pivot to Morikawa. Willy Z with the putting is super interesting.
$9,999 to $9,000- Ancer is looking great and sets up well for this course. Finau is a cut maker at this course and like his upside. Berger can work his way to the top of the leaderboard and don’t mind it. Homa is just okay to me and has decent upside.
$8,999 to $8,000- Fleetwood is up top and form is not bad at all. The driver is working for him and a sneaky option in this range. Na can contend here and in play to me for sure. Mito oh Mito, yes I still like him. Kokrak is not bad, but not my favorite. Webb is super interesting in this range.
$7,999 to $7,000- Woodland stands out to me who can boom here with his course history. Munoz is too cheap and stands out be here at these types of courses. Harman is a cut maker and like him here for sure. Kirk can make the top of leaderboard and nice price tag. Pan has a nice course style of play that can do well here. Hoge has a good playing style to fit well on this course. NeSmith is a great option with his playing style along with Merritt.
$6,999 to below- Long needs a good cut and in play. Knox fits this course well and don’t mind it. Schenk is too cheap and definitely in play as a punt.
