Course- 8 Million Purse! The Renaissance Club. Par 71. 7,293 yards. Winds will be crucial. Short game will be key:
$12,000 to $10,000- Scottie and Rahm kick off this range. I am liking Rahm here and this is a good tournament for him to get right. Fitzpatrick with his iron play stands out to me and love the course history for him. Thomas does look great here also and not a bad option at all.
$9,999 to $9,000- Xander has the iron game and tee to green play does look well. Smith has the approach game and stands out in this range. Hideki is a nice pivot to look at in this range. Will Z is the odd man out to me jus because of who is in this range. Cantlay can hang in this range and a good price tag.
$8,999 to $8,000- Spieth is at the top of this range. Spieth has the iron play to do okay. Oh man, Ryan Fox is priced mid tier in this price range. Im has the short game to do well here. Fleetwood has the course history and loves playing at courses like these. Niemann is a nice pivot and can do well at these courses. Billy Ho has the short game and course history.
$7,999 to $7,000- Bradley is not a bad price tag. Hatton has good course history here. Meronk has looked good for sure and not bad history at all. Macintyre has great course history and has looked great. Woodland has the iron play to do well and in play. Rai is cheap and in play but not my favorite. Si Woo Kim is definitely boom or bust here and hard to trust. Herbert strokes games approach play can thrive here. Hatton is interesting and the short game can do well here. Hughes game can form here along with HV3.
$6,999 to below- Fowler is cheap and his short game is not bad which is actually in play. NeSmith has good form and in play. Lahiri has actually done well recently. Tarren has looked great and a punt play. Palmer has done well here at this course.
