Course
Pebble Beach time! 6,972 yards total. Par is 72.
$10k range
Spieth is the highest-priced golfer on the slate. Spieth has the course history experience to do well here of course. Fitzpatrick has played much better than Spieth though. Spieth has been all over the place rather recently and I don't trust him. Hovland just has not played but he can do okay on this course. The unknown of Hovland is what worries me. Hoge is the odd man out in this range.
$9k range
Power kicks off this range up top. Powers can certainly get the job done here with his wedge play. McNealy has the putter to do okay at this course. Dahmen has been all over the place playing golf in which he hasn't played in two months. Putnam does pop off for this range and I don't mind going to him in this range.
$8k range
Detry at the top of this price range pops off and I like his short-game upside. Smalley is cheap enough to be good at this course. Moore has decent tools to do well here with his game. Griffin looked good last week with his putter and an okay option. Van Rooyen is all over the place with his driver but can do okay here if it stays on point.
$7k range
Lanto has looked good recently and staying consistent. Gordon has decent course history and plays well in other courses. Stallings is not bad at all and is someone to look at. Knox is extremely good at this course along with Merritt.
