Derek Brunson VS Kevin Holland- Main Event time! Holland had an crazy knockout against Souza. Holland just needs to work on the ground control with the takedown defense where that is his downfall. The striking though is unreal. Brunson is coming off an hell of an performance and is sharp on the feet. He is accurate everywhere. He has fought top talent in his loses and he can take Holland out. Brunson can use his wrestling to his advantage and take Holland down. Holland has upside and promise but give me Brunson,
Gregor Gillespie VS Brad Riddell- Gregor is finally back baby! An great fight and can’t wait! Riddell is an nasty striker and ,man those leg kicks are crazy to me. The takedown defense is also there. Gillespie has been working on the boxing and now is an confident fighter who is ready for this but still. Gregor can’t give Riddell the striking advantage, make this an grappling matchup,. Gregor can’t freeze up again...Riddell is gonna have to prevent the takedown. Riddell can get the knockout here.
Adrian Yanez VS Gustavo Lopez- Heck of an fight overall. The boxing of Yanez is there and his dad was an professional. Boxing is all his and that is where his game is. Lopez is tough and an good boxer also but not compared to Yanez. This is going to be an banger overall. I have to with Yanez though to keep this fight on the feet.
Max Griffin VS Kenan Song- Song is coming into this fight super fast and striking very well. Griffin is coming in with an reach advantage. Song is talented and an matchup that is all about striking. Max is going to implement the grappling but still try to outstrike him. Griffin looked great last fight and think he can do well here.
Cheyanne Buys VS Montserrat Ruiz- New opponent in Ruiz! Ruiz has experience in Invitica. Buys though has been training with her husband and an good prospect. The striking is there for Buys and super accurate. Her resume is great and not much there for Ruiz.
Marion Reneau VS Macy Chiasson- An aged fighter verses the young prospect so here we go. Renaau is coming off of 3 losses while Chiasson needs this fight. Chiasson has good ground and pound but dropped the ball couple fights ago. Just the last 3 fights are tough loses and good fighters. I think Chiasson should win here from an overall stand point with her upside. She just needs to show up.
Grant Dawson VS Leonardo Santos- I am loving this matchup by far! Dawson has Krause in his corner and is an top prospect by far. He is an hell of an fighter coming from DWCS. His grappling is there and striking is great to me. Santos is an good fighter but his time has come. I think Dawson is the better fighter here. I think his game a lot better in all aspects here.
Trevin Giles VS Roman Dolidze- Huge fight! Roman is huge striker and powerful fighter. Giles is no push over though and has looked well. Giles has looked accurate with his striking. Roman though is more aggressive and confident in his game. Roman has the striking aspect advantage to me by far.
Montel Jackson VS Jesse Strader- This is an new fight to the card. Jackson is coming off an big loss and that was just not great at all. Jackson has been good other than that last fight, The reach advantage is an big deal with his power hands. Strader has to get in Jacksons face and take him straight to the mat but that isn’t his game at all. He isn’t an grappler and wants to strike. This is why Jackson should win this fight but the knockout power is there for Strader. Give me Jackson but that betting line is high.
Julia Avila VS Julija Stoliarenko- Female fight! Stol is stepping up in this fight. Avila didn’t look good last fight but she has decent grappling here. This Is overall an meh fight to m. Stol is not bad on the mat and that is her main format in the UFC game. Avila should win this fight but she has dropped the ball before.
JP Buys VS Bruno Silva- Here we goooo! JP Buys coming from DWCS and is an touted prospect. He is on an 5 fight win streak and an finisher. He has looked great recently. Buys is an grappler and taking you to the ground. The striking is powerful and an guy I am really liking. Silva has been training with great fighters. He’s fought guys with good resumes also. I do like JP though overall.
Johnny Eduardo VS Anthony Birchak- Here we go with the first fight of the night. Birchak is coming off an lose and needs this win. He is back once again in the UFC and didn’t look good this past fight. Birchak is an grappler mainly and on the ground is his bread and butter. Eduardo is an polished fighter and striker. He is 41 years old and coming off of two loses. This is an decent matchup for Birchak and his fight to win.
