UFC 263 Breakdown!

Israel Adesanya VS Marvin Vettori- THE MAIN EVENT! This will be fireworks! These guys hate each other and this will be an war. Championship time for the middle weights! 5 round fight and I think this gives Marvin the advantage here. Marvin has looked great on the mat and that’s an huge plus for this fight compared to last time. I am taking Marvin here and think the game is there for him. He has to back up Izzy and get the significant strikes there but he can wrestle at the same time. The game plan has to be striking then going for the grapple. I want Marvin here!

Deiveson Figueiredo VS Brandon Moreno- The CO-MAIN! This is an nasty fight overall my goodness. Fig is so nasty and an monster on the feet. I think Fig can out work Moreno here. Brandon I think has stepped up here and can take it to him, I am not counting him fully out but still I like Fig here. The durability of Moreno is amazing to me. He is fast on the feet and has the power handy. Fig on the other hand will get in Morenos face and try to attack counter first. I am liking Moreno here in an close, nasty, and bloody fight.

Leon Edwards VS Nate Diaz- 5 round fight! I am HYPED! Diaz is back baby! Leon though is the bigger and stronger fighter here who should out work Diaz here. Diaz gets bloody quick and not physically fit for this fight which scares me so much…Leon should be able to knock him out and make this an bloody fight. The durability for Diaz is there but like above if he gets cut then he bloods real quick. Give me Edwards by decision!

Demian Maia VS Belal Muhammad- Here we go! Maia is coming off an loss to Burns but the grappling is huge for him. Belal has to stuff the takedowns here in order to beat Maia and that is the path to victory…does Belal have it in him though? Belal has never fought a wrestler before which scares me for him. Maia I think can out work Belal and handle business here. The grip and he should get this fight to the mat which I don’t think Belal can handle it. I think Belal has the youth yes but this is an great optimal fight to watch.

Paul Craig VS Jamahal Hill- Love this! Craig is going to bring it to Hill and he is the massive underdog. Don’t count out Hill though with the power. The grappling is there and last fight was an huge win for him. Craig is not an a striker but the takedowns are there! Hill is so explosive and ready to go. He is young in the game and Is working up to his prime. He is an power striker and can knock out Craig here. I like Hill here who should take care of Craig based on the striking game.

Drew Dober VS Brad Riddell- Great fight! Both guys are huge strikers here. Dober needs grappling in his arsenal which it scares me that he doesn’t have it. Riddell is an huge striker and the kickboxing is there. Riddell was getting it going last fight and needs to pick up the pace in this fight. I do think though Dober has the better striking so I am leaning slightly on his side.

Eryk Anders VS Darren Stewart- Rematch timeeeee! Anders should’ve won the last time these two fought and looked amazing after the illegal kne….anyways Stewart is an striker and the grappling is meh, the power is all in his hands there. Anders is an heck of an striker and given this fight was two months ago, I am taking Anders to win this AGAIN!

Lauren Murphy VS Joanne Calderwood- Not an bad fight! Calderwood has great grappling and leg kicks are there, an decent fighter overall. Murphy is an bring it fighter and opposite of Calderwood personality wise. She is so strong but will open herself for the take down. Calderwood will want to punch accurately here while Murphy has the power. Super close fight but give me Calderwood If Murphy can‘t find the takedowns.

Hakeem Dawodu VS Movsar Evloev- Love this fight! Evloev has improved an ton and has looked amazing. The takedown defense and striking is super quick to the match. He is an all together ready to fight prospect that will bring the fight to Hakeem. On the flip side, the leg kicks for Hakeem are there and he can bring it also. Hakeem is no pushover and this fight has fight of then night written all over it. Give me Evolev here!

Pannie Kianzad VS Alexis Davis- Female fight! Pannie is on an 3 fight win streak! Her striking has been clean on the feet and love the striking while Davis is an big grappler which her strong point. I think Pannie will keep Davis on the feet and cross her up here with how accurate her punches are. Give me Pannie by far!

Steven Peterson VS Chase Hooper- Hoop star baby! Love this fight! Peterson had an huge win last fight and the record is not the greatest but he brings the toughness aspect to the fights. He has never been subbed which is Hoopers bread and butter. Hooper is an young guy who has good grappling but the takedown defense scares me. I am taking the vet to out class Hooper here who needs work in my opinion.

Fares Ziam VS Luigi Vendramini- Lightweight class! Both guys are young prospects ready to make an name for themselves. Ziam is an good kick boxer and has excellent range, on the feet my goodness he has looked good. He just can’t handle grappling. I am on the Ziam side based on the striking and has more potential to me.

Carlos Felipe VS Jake Collier- Big heavyweight fight! Big boys! Felipe has been good and an real contender. He has good boxing and not so bad wins at all. On the flip side, Collier doesn’t need to be in the heavyweight division…he has looked okay but doesn’t belong here. Give me all of Carlos here who should cross him up with his boxing technique.

Matt Frevola vs Terrance McKinney- Updated fight! Prayers up for Camacho! So here we go. McKinney is an hell of an redemption story. He is looking for a finish and it is crazy how he fights. He is an push forward fighter. Frevola does have an chin issue but he can handle business here in my opinion.
