UFC 275 Fight Breakdown

Joselyne Edwards VS Ramona Pascual- First fight of the night! Pascual just made her debut a few months ago. Pascual showed heart in the loss. Edwards is coming a loss and the takedown defense looked awful despite the decent striking power. Pascual is the better fighter and has the more style of fighting to win this.

Silvana Gómez Juárez VS Na Liang- Another female fight and here we go! Liang is going fight in the cage quick but is super wild in the cage. Juarez has power on the feet but is coming off of two losses. Juarez is prone to get subbed easily and we need to watch for that. The striking though is way better than Liang by far. I do like Liang to go for the sub and take this fight.

Kyung Ho Kang VS Batgerel Danaa- Interesting fight. Danaa is coming off a knockout loss, but he didn't seem too fazed. Danaa is wanting to come in winning and not giving up. Kang has not been finished despite the power from Danaa. The resume is not the greatest from Kang at all. I am liking Danaa coming into the cage to takeover this fight.

Jake Matthews VS Andre Fialho- Good fight. Fialho is trying to make a name for himself in the cage. Matthews has a ton of experience in the UFC, but he has not fought the best fighters. Fialho has the massive size advantage and has knockout power. Fialho has fought the better fighters by far. I am just liking Fialho much more all the way around.

Hayisaer Maheshate VS Steve Garcia- Decent fight. Hayisaer has looked good on DWCS and has power with the hands. Hayisaer has decent leg kicks and not bad at all. Garcia has a decent chin, and the style of fighting is interesting to see. Garcia is not bad to be honest. I am liking Garcia here to earn a win.

Seung Woo Choi VS Joshua Culibao- Not a bad fight. Choi is coming off a bad loss of getting subbed. Choi is good on the feet and has the leg kicks to thrive. Choi brings power for sure. Culiabao is a striker and not a ton of sub game at all which is the lacking part of Choi. I am liking Choi here to take care of the fight on the feet.

Brendan Allen VS Jacob Malkoun- Battle of the grapplers. Malkoun and Allen are both coming off a win. Malkoun is a good grappler and can take fights on the ground with ease. Malkoun is no pushover on the ground at all. Allen is good on the ground also and the striking is starting to show case. Allen I think can handle this fight on the feet rather than getting struck on the ground.

Jack Della Maddalena VS Ramazan Emeev- Not a bad fight. Emeev is a balanced fighter and will push the fight to the edge. Jack is the much better fighter compared to Emeev. Jack can bring in the boxing and has the power in his hands. I am just taking the better overall fighter here in Jack to get this fight through his hands.

Rogério Bontorin VS Manel Kape- Oh man. Kape is coming off of steroids and still the heavy favorite in this fight. Kape is all over the place. Kape has the wrestling and striking to pop anyone in the cage. Bontorin is a decent fighter who has power in his hands also. Bontorin can hang in the cage here if he does not get clipped by Kape. This fight is closer than the odds show by far. I do like Kape though.

Weili Zhang VS Joanna Jędrzejczyk- Female fight! Zhang is coming in as a slight favorite in this matchup. The rematch! It has been two years since Joanna last fought and it was from Weili. Now, Weili is coming off two losses. Joanna is going to come in wanting revenge. Joanna will have more volume than Weili despite the power from Weili. Give me Joanna here.

Valentina Shevchenko VS Taila Santos- The CO-Main Event! Shevchenko is coming in as a heavy favorite in this matchup. Valentina is one of the best fighters ever. The striking is there for Valentina and just well-rounded by far. Valentina has no weaknesses in the cage. Santos is good but not ready for this fight. Santos has not fought great fighters at all. Valentina all day here.

Glover Teixeira VS Jiří Procházka- The Main Event! Jiri is coming in as a decent favorite. Jiri is a heck of a fighter in the cage. Jiri has fought great fighters in the regional scene outside of UFC before the two wins in the UFC. Glover is getting older but is looking better as time goes on. Glover has decent hands and not bad grappling at all. Glover will make this a fight for Jiri. The thing is Jiri is bringing the x-factor in the cage.
