Amanda Nunes vs. Irene Aldana
The main event and for the belt! We all know Nunes is the GOAT (Greatest of all time) for those who don't know haha. The belt is in Nunes hands. Nunes has wrestling for days and has massive power behind her hands. Aldana is a powerful boxer and will want this fight on the feet with her great takedown defense. After Nunes lost two fights ago, Nunes came back in a massive way. Right now, who is the more motivated fighter? I think Aldana is more motivated but this is Nunes fight to win. The skillset is there for Nunes by a mile. Look at the strength of fighters who Aldana has fought compared to Nunes.
Charles Oliveira vs. Beneil Dariush
The co-main event and what a great fight we have in the lightweight division. The odds are super close in this fight. Oliveira has amazing leg kicks that can stop anyone. The takedowns are amazing for Oliveira and will shoot for them nonstop. Darisuh is great on the ground also though and will shoot for the takedowns. The striking though with the power behind his striking is there for Darisuh There will be a finish in this fight one way or another. I am liking the finish upside to Dariush.
Mike Malott vs. Adam Fugitt
Home country fight for Malott! Malott is coming off three UFC wins including his DWCS win. Fugitt has one win and one loss in the UFC. Malott has some striking and the wrestling is okay. Malott all around has the tools to win. Fugitt is mainly a wrestler but they are sloppy. The defense on the striking end for Fugitt is worrisome. Malott should win this fight and I am loving him here.
Dan Ige vs. Nate Landwehr
We have a featherweight matchup on our hands and we have the legend in Ige ready to go. Ige is coming off a knockout win and Landwehr is looking to extend his 3 fight-winning streak. Ige has great hands and has power like we seen last fight. Ige wants the finish in his fight. Landwehr is coming off a submission win but look who he has fought. The fights Landwehr have been in nothing compared to Ige. I am liking Ige but don't count out Landwehr.
Eryk Anders vs. Marc-Andre Barriault
I am liking this fight and the line movement has shown. Barriault in his home country and I know I repeat this but it is something to look at based on the motivation factor. Anders is a wrestler and has nice striking output. Anders will shoot for the takedown nonstop. Both of these fighters are coming off a win in the middleweight division. Barriault has nice kickboxing and the wrestling is there for him. Barriault will want this fight on the feet and only wrestle when he needs to. I am liking Anders by a hair just based on the wrestling.
Nassourdine Imavov vs. Chris Curtis
I am loving this fight overall. Imavov is a striker that will want this fight on the feet. Imavov has the wrestling though that is improving. Last fight, Imavov looked way off than usual. Both fighters need a win coming off a loss. Curtis is going to find the one punch that knocks out his opponent. Curtis starts super slow in his fight compared to Imavov who is ready to go in round one. Curtis has been all over the place with his personality on Twitter, to say the least. I like Imavov by a hair to bounce back after a sloppy performance last fight.
Miranda Maverick vs. Jasmine Jasudavicius
We have a flyweight interesting female fight. Maverick has power and will shoot for the takedowns along with having decent striking. Jasmine is in her home country and we know the grappling is her main takeaway. Jasmine is no pushover on the grappling end and has a massive upside with her wrestling. Maverick will not be able to hang in the wrestling department with Jasmine. The striking though is decent for Maverick like I said and can push for a win in that output. I am liking Jasmine in this fight by a hair just based on the grappling.
Kyle Nelson vs. Blake Bilder
Home country fight for Nelson and has been all over the place. Nelson rarely fights and is coming off a draw. Nelson is mainly a takedown artist but hasn't been active. Bilder is nice on the feet and will find takedowns all day. Bilder is going to push the pace and has a massive heart in the cage. I am liking Bilder to carve up Nelson on the feet and then handle business on the ground.
Aiemann Zahabi vs. Aoriqileng
Home country fight for Zahabi! Zahabi has excellent training behind him and I like him with the power he brings to the table. Zahabi will need to watch the takedown offense from Aoriqileng. Zahabi though is okay on the grappling end but doesn't use his wrestling. On the feet, this fight will go back and forth. I am liking Zahabi to take the win as an underdog but this is close overall.
Diana Belbita vs. Maria Oliveira
Female strawweight matchup. The performances from both fighters need work. Belbita is aggressive and will push the pace in her fights. It has been over a year though since we have seen Belbita. Oliveira has nice leg kicks and has takedown offense. Overall, this fight will be back and forth. I am liking Oliveira to get the job done in this fight based on the striking battle the two fighters will be in.
David Dvorak vs. Stephen Erceg
A interesting flyweight fight. Dvorak is on a two-fight losing skid in the UFC. Erceg is coming from Eternal MMA and has been on a winning streak. Erceg is stepping in on a week's notice for Matt Schnell. Erceg is making his UFC debut. Dvorak has nice striking and will include leg kicks on the striking end. Erceg is nice on the grappling end and that is his main weapon. The striking is okay for Erceg. I am liking Dvorak to combat the takedown offense of Erceg.
