Welcome to UFC 316! A huge card is in our hands! I can't wait to watch the card and here are my three core plays for DraftKings.

Merab Dvalishvili, $9,000
The main event is here and is my top core play! Takedowns. That is the key word for targeting Merab in this fight. The takedown offense will be heavily in his favor, and that is what we are simply looking for. The chain wrestling he can sustain and control time on the mat. The price tag may be high, but it is well worth it. I am not sure what Sean O'Malley can bring to the table in this fight. I am expecting a heavy wrestling game plan and a decision win!
Bruno Silva, $6,900
I am surprised by this price tag that I saw on DraftKings. I understand the hype coming in on Joshua Van, but this price tag is crazy. This is a step up in competition for Van coming into this fight. Silva has a better strength of schedule. Van comes in with a lot of pop and volume in the striking column. Silva will need to avoid the knockout on the feet. If he can survive, the price tag will be an excellent value.
Serghei Spivac, $8,300
We have the mid-range salaries for the slate here with Serghei Spivac coming in as the slight favorite over Waldo Cortes Acosta. This is a scary fight, but I believe the winner will be on the optimal lineup. The takedown defense for Acosta is even more terrifying. I will say Spivac is inconsistent, but I think he shows up here in this fight. The level of competition is even wilder between these fighters. Acosta has not fought wrestlers like Spivac, which I think will show. Take downs for the win for Spivac, and he should be able to grapple his way to a victory.
Thank you for checking out my core! Be kind and have a good day!
