Josh Emmett vs. Ilia Topuria
The main event! Topuria is a promising fighter who is on an undefeated winning streak. Emmett is coming off a loss and has power in the striking field. The age is going up for Emmett and the weight cut worries me. The knockout and speed with his striking is there though for Emmett. Topuria has wrestling and striking that is there for him. Everything is there for Topuria. This is a straightforward fight for Topuria.
Maycee Barber vs. Amanda Ribas
The co-main event! Barber is coming off a 4 fight winning streak. Ribas has been back and forth in the win column. Ribas is all around a good fighter with wrestling and striking. Ribas looked great last fight. Barber worries me with her takedown defense and Ribas should have her way wrestling.
Neil Magny vs. Phil Rowe
What a fight! This is a step down in competition for Magny compared to the fighters Rowe has fought. Rowe is coming off a knockout win while Magny is coming off a submission loss. Keep in mind, look at the fighters Magny has all fought, the best of the best. Magny is a pace fighter and has takedown upside. Magny will work the pace with Rowe. The striking is good for Rowe while the grappling is questionable. Rowe has power that Magny will need to watch for. I am liking Magny to handle business.
Brendan Allen vs. Bruno Silva
A nice fight overall. Silva is going to be the older fighter compared to Allen. Silva is coming off a knockout win while Allen is riding a 4 fight win streak including last-fight submission win. Allen has changed his game the past few fights. The grappling has always been there for Allen. The striking has been working for Allen. Silva can knock out a ton of fighters and has power. Silva is going to be a tough test for Allen.
Tabatha Ricci vs. Gillian Robertson
This is for sure a close fight overall. Ricci is coming off a submission win and 3 fight win streak. Robertson is coming off a submission win also and 2 fight win streak. Ricci is a grappler and has excellent wrestling. Robertson likes to finish fights and the takedown offense is there. I like the striking for Ricci more so than Robertson's. I am liking Ricci to push the pace and handle this fight.
Austen Lane vs. Justin Tafa
Heavyweight time! Tafa has massive power and is coming off two wins. Lane is coming off a win from DWCS and is a former football player that was a Defensive End. Tafa is mainly a striker and has not earned a grapple yet in the UFC. Lane is quick on the feet and has grappling. Lane is an athletic fighter and it has shown. I do like Tafa though who knows how to defend a takedown in which he hasn't been taken down before.
Loik Radzhabov vs. Mateusz Rebecki
This is a close fight overall. Both of these fighters are coming off a decision win. Rebecki is a wrestler and is nasty on the ground. Rebecki has decent cardio and volume with his striking. Rebecki has a nice chin and power. Radzhabov has powerful wrestling and also will push the pace. These fighters are super aggressive. Loik is very similar to Radzhabov.
Sedriques Dumas vs. Cody Brundage
Brundage is stepping in on short notice and should win this fight. Dumas is coming off a submission loss 3 months ago. Brundage is coming off of two losses and a submission loss also. Brundage has nice wrestling and can find the finish in this fight. Brundage can knock down great fighters including Dumas. The power is there for Dumas but Brundage has more power to me.
David Onama vs. Gabriel Santos
Both of these fighters are coming off a loss and is needing a win. Onama has nice striking and leg kicks. Santos looked great last loss that he should have won. If Santos can be aggressive, Onama will be in trouble. Santos has takedown offense and is better there compared to the feet. This is Santos's second UFC fight and I like his upside to win this.
Kleydson Rodrigues vs. Tatsuro Taira
Taira is one of Japan's most promising fighters. Taira is coming off a submission win and is undefeated. Rodrigues is a massive underdog. Taira is a grappler and will chain wrestler. Rodrigues has upside but this fight isn't for him. Rodrigues has okay striking and the takedown defense worries me.
Randy Brown vs. Wellington Turman
Brown on the feet is nasty and the leg kicks are powerful. Turman is great in the grappling end and is coming off a loss where he had an upside. Turman has striking for days and I can see him hanging into this fight. Brown though is the winner for me who has the upper hand everywhere.
Jamall Emmers vs. Jack Jenkins
This is a decent fight overall. Emmers is excellent on the grappling end and he likes to wrestle in the cage. Emmers is coming off a nice win. Jenkins is good all around and wants to keep the pace in the cage. This is a step up for Jenkins and is a tough fighter overall. Jenkins and Emmers though can go at it on the feet. I am liking Emmers by a hair while this fight is close.
Jose Mariscal vs. Trevor Peek
Peek is now fighting Jose in which Jose is coming in on short notice into this fight. Peek is a promising fighter and Peek wants that finish quickly. Peek is coming off a knockout win and has a massive striking upside despite it is sloppy at times. Jose is a wrestler and has an upside in the grappling end. Jose is making his UFC debut and this will be a fight where there is a finish. This is an interesting fight that can go the distance.
Zhalgas Zhumagulov vs Joshua Van
Kicking off the card and here we go! Zhumagulov has a rescheduled fight from last week. Van is coming in on short notice and taking on this fight! Zhumagulov has power in his hands and typically looks for the knockout shot. Zhumagulov needs another win badly in the UFC. Van is making his UFC debut and is young for sure. Van has decent grappling and overall isn't a bad fighter. Zhumagulov should find an easy win in this fight though.
