UFC Vegas 31 Breakdown!

Islam Makhachev VS Thiago Moisés- The Main Event time! Islam is the heavy favorite and the line is crazy to me…it should be closer to me. Moises is putting in the work and has quick punching. Islam will want to get Moises to the mat and to get the takedowns overall. Moises though can hang and he can out work Islam. Don’t be scared of taking the underdog here because he can pull it off.

Marion Reneau VS Miesha Tate- THE CO MAIN! Tate is making her return but Renaue is 44 years old who doesn’t show it at all. She is the gate keeper and yes the 4 loses are bad in an row but this could be an bounce back possibly. If Reneau wins this…this would throw the UFC in an loop. Tate is mentally ready and the support is there in which makes me like her more right now. The mentally game is huge to me and in her conferences she is ready. This is the last fight for Reneau which she already came out and talked about….will she go out there guns blazing?

Mateusz Gamrot VS Jeremy Stephens- The legend in the game with Stephens man oh man. He has the power and is fighting Gamrot is has been training with Poirer…he is for sure legit to me. I like this fight overall but I like Gamrot who is levels above right now. Gam came from KSW which he got paid by the UFC…the UFC doesn’t want this guy going down hill. I don’t see how Gamrot loses.

Rodolfo Vieira VS Dustin Stoltzfus- Not an bad loss for Stoltzfus but despite that loss to Daukaus, has decent wins. Vieira is an heck of an grappler and he gassed out last fight which scares me. He goes out there like a bat out of hell which I don’t like. If this goes to the 2nd round then good luck because he will not last in the ring. I know Stoltzfus has been decent, he has the better gas tank and should win this fight. I don’t trust Vierira here at all.

Billy Quarantillo VS Gabriel Benítez- The calf kicker is here! On the flip side, Billy Q has some good wins and the resume is there. He is an grappler and has power in the hands. The calf kicker though who is an an hell of an striker. It is hard to not love Benitez here and should handle this.

Daniel Rodriguez VS Preston Parsons- Tough striker out of Rodriguez while Parsons is an submission machine. Rodriguez can pull off submissions, the striking is his way to go. He will want to hang with him on the feet in which he will have the advantage. Parsons needs to work on the striking.

Amanda Lemos VS Montserrat Ruiz- Female fight! Ruiz is an scrappy fighter who came in to fight Buys on short notice and brought it to her. Lemons is an fluid puncher and the foot work is great to me. The Ruiz line at plus 370 is outrageous to me and disrespectful.

Khalid Taha VS Sergey Morozov- Interesting fight. Morozov has an extensive resume but Taha is an huge fighter who has all the power in the world. Taha should handle business but I can see Morozov possibly hang. I love this fight and can’t wait.

Anderson dos Santos VS Miles Johns- Love this fight. Johns has been on the come up and the wrestling background is great. Yes he has an underrated loss in Bautista but the wins are there. Anderson has the submission upside and the reach advantage is there. Johns should take care of business here.

Francisco Figueiredo VS Malcolm Gordon- Fly weight time! Fig has good work in the grappling and clinch, he is an strong fighter overall. Gordon is coming off of two loses and both were submissions. Fig should piece him up and out grapple him.

Rodrigo Nascimento VS Alan Baudot- First fight! Rodrigio is an huge fighter and the holes in the striking is scary but the submission game is theRe. Baudot is an striker and Rodrigo will have the edge in the grappling aspect. I personally am taking the grappler here and I like Rodrigo slightly more.
