MAIN CARD

  • Jan Blachowicz vs. Aleksandar Rakic- Main event time! Blachowicz has looked questionable recently. Rakic has been in great form and the style of striking Is great to see. Blachowicz has decent striking, but the power of Rakic is much better. I like Rakic here to just style on him and handle business.

Pick- Rakic

  • Ryan Spann vs. Ion Cutelaba- What a fight as the Co- Main! Cutelaba is a animal before fights on the weigh ins. Cutelaba brings massive energy and gets inside the head of fighters. Cutelaba has massive wrestling abilities and handle good fighters on the mat. Spann worries me a ton and is slow in the cage. Cutelaba will be able to do anything in the cage to Spann.

Pick- Cutelaba

  • Davey Grant vs. Louis Smolka- Man oh man what a run Grant is on now compared to his past history in the cage. Grant has become so much better this go round in the cage and worked on his abilities in a huge way. Smolka has been up and down in the cage. Grant should out strike Smolka and rip him apart with his boxing. I don’t see the wrestling working for Smolka. Give me Grant to clip him.

Pick- Grant

  • Katlyn Chookagian vs. Amanda Ribas- Good fight overall. Ribas looked great last fight and good on the mat by far. Ribas striking has been decent recently. Chookagian is in her prime and working. Overall Chookagian has the leg kicks length in her favor with the striking, but Ribas could work a takedown. Chookagian is not bad on the mat which worries me. This fight can certainly work both ways. I like the recent form of Chookagian more so and think she can handle this.

Pick- Chookagian

  • Frank Camacho vs. Manuel Torres- Interesting fight. Torres is trying to make a name for himself from DWCS. Camacho has not looked great recently and on his downfall despite fighting good named fighters. This fight can go back and forth to be honest. I like Torres with his boxing and he can clip Camacho which we seen Justin Jaynes do. This fight can go multiple ways to be honest.

Pick- Torres

  • Jake Hadley vs. Allan Nascimento- Kicking off the main card! Hadley is amazing in the cage and from his experience in the cage, he is a highly touted prospect. Hadley is great on the striking out put and not bad on the ground. Hadley is going to be a name to remember. Allan has history with Hadley but this isn’t matchup. You have to love Hadley here.

Pick- Hadley

UNDER CARD

  • Viviane Araujo vs. Andrea Lee- Good fight. Both fighters have looked great. Lee is coming off of two wins. Araujo has great striking and power, she is overall well rounded. The style of her fighting is clean. Lee is all over the place and that worries me a ton. I like Viviane to work her style of fighting and take this fight.

Pick- Araujo

  • Michael Johnson vs. Alan Patrick- Vets in the game for sure. Patrick had a interesting last fight after getting poked in the eye. Johnson is skilled, but he worries me so much when he makes mental mistakes in the cage. Patrick is a slow fighter with his striking and the submission game isn’t there. I like the takedown defense from Johnson despite concerns. Give me Johnson in hopes his game is there.

Pick- Johnson

  • Virna Jandiroba vs. Angela Hill- Female fight! Jandiroba is a wrestler and that is her key to win this fight. Hill is going to have to try to out strike Jandiroba, which Hill is better at. This is going to be a battle of styles. I am on the Jandiroba to get a sneaky sub based on the lack of Hill’s grappling defense.

Pick- Jandiroba

  • Tatsuro Taira vs. Carlos Candelario- Added fight! Taira is a beast and he should be able to handle this fight easily. Overall the better fighter is Taira. UFC debut will be great for Taira with his game. Just like last week, I am on Taira again!

Pick- Taira

  • Nick Maximov vs. Andre Petroski- Nice first fight to be honest and should be pushed up. Maximov has trained with the Diaz group and working. This is going to be a grappling fight. I don’t see this being on the feet at all. Maximov is young and can hang with bigger fighters wrestling. Petroski is on two fight win streak, but the gas tank is worrisome by far. Maximov should handle business in this fight.

Pick- Maximov
