Ronnie Lawrence vs Saiyokub Kakhramanov- The first fight of the night! Both fighters are on a win streak. Saiyokub can hang in the cage with anyone. Ronnie has been on fire and the submission game is there for him. The cardio is there for Lawrence also. This is a tight and close fight to me. I do like Lawrence more so based on the UFC experience and style of his game.
Pick- Lawrence
Kennedy Nzechuwku vs Karl Roberson- Not a bad fight but both fighters are coming off a couple of losses. Kennedy has a good chin and physically strong in the cage. This fight will be mainly on the feet rather than the ground. I do like Kennedy has more confidence and mentally ready for this fight rather than Roberson who looked lost in the cage last fight.
Pick- Kennedy
Cody Brundage vs Tresean Gore- This fight is super even based on the betting odds. Gore is coming from TUF and has looked great. Gore has fast hands and powerful for sure. Brundage is a wrestler rather than on the feet. Gore though can stuff the takedowns and work his game. I do like Gore here by far.
Pick- Gore
Antonina Shevchenko vs Courtney Casey- Female fight that will be great. Casey is an excellent striker and has amazing pop. Shevchenko is good on the mat for sure. This is going to be a back-and-forth fight. I do think Casey can push the pace in this fight and show off her underrated grappling.
Pick- Casey
Aiemann Zahabi vs Ricky Turcios- DWCS winner in Turcios who has amazing tools under his belt. Turcios is a good striker and has the volume to fight all day. Zahabi is not a bad fighter, but he just doesn't fight a ton. I think Turcios handles this fight with ease and makes quick work.
Pick- Turcios
Cynthia Calvillo vs Nina Nunes- Both fighters are coming off a losing streak which is kind of the title of this card haha. Nunes has some good wins on her resume. Calvillo has been all over the place which is worrisome. Nunes can win this fight and handle this fight based on how Calvillo has looked recently.
Pick- Nunes
Michael Johnson vs Jamie Mullarkey- Great fight. Johnson can throw hands with anyone and the Mullarkey loss is not bad because look who it was against. Johnson has the power, but the defense is worrisome. Johnson though is hard to trust because it depends on which version, we get from him. Mullarkey is good with the knockout power, and they can go pound for pound on the feet. Mullarkey can shoot for the takedown, and I do like that aspect.
Pick- Mullarkey
Jared Vanderaa vs Chase Sherman- Big boy fight! Both fighters are coming off a over two fight losing streak. Vanderaa has shown potential on the feet and working his way in the cage. I like Vanderaa here with the better game and a better game plan in the cage.
Pick- Vanderaa
Douglas Silva de Andrade vs Said Nurmagomedov- Not a bad fight. Douglas is in great shape coming into this fight. This is a tough fight for sure for him. Said is a great striker with the leg kicks and even better with the grappling. You have to go with Said.
Pick- Nurmagomedov
Caio Borralho vs Armen Petrosyan- The CO- Main! Both fighters are coming from DWCS. Both fighters are on win streaks also. Caio is a good wrestler on the ground and has excellent striking. Petrosyan is more of a striker than grappling. This is a excellent fight between two rising prospects in the game. I do like Caio to prove his worth.
Pick- Caio
Rafael Dos Anjos vs Rafael Fiziev- The Main Event! RDA has been in many divisions in the cage where he looked great last fight. Fiziev is on a great win streak. RDA is still no pushover in the cage. Fiziev is a excellent striker and has knockout power. I do think Fiziev has the x-factor to win this.
Pick- Fiziev
