Sergey Morozov VS Journey Newson
The first fight of the night! Both of these fighters are coming off a win. Morozov is a tank and wrestling is great for him. The striking is coming along for Morozov. I am liking Morozov in this matchup overall. I don't see how Newson handles Morozov coming at him in multiple ways. Give me Morozov to fly through this fight.
David Dvořák VS Manel Kape
Kape is on a two-fight winning streak while Dvorak is coming off a loss. This is going to be a banger of a fight. Kape is decent on the striking aspect but he dances around in the cage. Dvorak is going to have to push the pace in order to win this fight and show Kape how much volume he has. This is a close fight but going off of recent performances, I think Kape can win this if he stays active over Dvorak. I like the power Kape brings to the table also.
Bryan Battle VS Rinat Fakhretdinov
Rinat is coming off a win after his UFC debut and has great wrestling in his back pocket. Battle is no pushover and can handle the takedown attempts from Rinat. Battle is on the come up and on a win streak. I am loving Battle here to handle business in the cage.
Maheshate VS Rafa García
This is going to be an interesting fight overall. Maheshate is coming off a win while Garcia is coming off a loss. Maheshate is great on the striking end and has knockout power. I am really liking what I have seen from Maheshate recently. Garcia is also good on the feet and will try to push the pace in this fight shooting for the takedowns. I think Maheshate can avoid the takedowns and shots from Garcia.
Said Nurmagomedov VS Saidyokub Kakhramonov
This fight is going to be a battle in all formats! Nurmagomedov is a takedown machine and has submission skills for days. Saidyokub is a solid striker and quick on the feet. Saidyokub also has great takedowns and the tools to win this fight. Nurmagomedov has calf kicks though in his toolbox that Saidyokub will have to avoid. This is a super close fight but I like Saidyokub slightly more.
Julian Marquez VS Deron Winn
Both of these fighters are needing a win. Winn has one win out of the past four fights. Winn has decent wrestling and has cardio behind him. Marquez is a okay striker and has power, but the volume will need to be picked up. I like Marquez though to bounce back in this fight in a massive way. The submission attempts will be there for Marquez.
Jake Matthews VS Matt Semelsberger
Matthews is coming off a massive win and is an experienced fighter. Matthews's every fight has grown more and more. Semelsberger is a huge power puncher that gasses out quickly. Matthews's is going to have use the same strategy he did last fight in order to pull off this fight in which I think he can. This will be a good win for Matthews.
Cheyanne Vlismas VS Cory McKenna
Female fight! Both fighters have looked good rather recently. Cheyanne is a power puncher and has a nice volume. The takedown defense is what worries me for Cheyanne. McKenna is an amazing grappler and she will exploit Cheyanne in that aspect.
Cody Brundage VS Michał Oleksiejczuk
A nice middleweight fight! Brundage had a nice win last fight and has decent wrestling. Michal is coming off an easy win in the last fight. Michal shouldn't have any issues here with southpaw boxing style. Michal should easily win this fight.
Drew Dober VS Bobby Green
This will be a striking battle. Green has power and volume in his hands. Dober has great accuracy in his striking. I think Dober can handle the hands from Green. Dober can calf kick and I like his striking style more so than Green. I am on Dober by a hair.
Alex Caceres VS Julian Erosa
Featherweight fight! Erosa has won the past 3 fights and is on a streak. Erosa has submission skills for days and that is his mindset. Caceres is coming off a loss but before that was looking okay overall. Erosa is going to keep Caceres on his feet and style on Caceres.
Amir Albazi VS Alessandro Costa
Albazi is the heavy favorite coming into this fight. Albazi has looked great on the mat submitting guys left and right. Costa is in for a huge matchup. Albazi has all the tools to win this fight, especially with his striking. Costa might want to look to another fighter when he makes his UFC debut.
Arman Tsarukyan VS Damir Ismagulov
The CO-Main! Arman is coming off a loss and it was a tough fight overall. Arman has nice leg kicks and jabs that can knock down anyone. Damir is good on the feet though also. Arman is going to want this win and to avoid the wrestling from Damir. I am liking Arman to come into this fight fired up.
Jared Cannonier VS Sean Strickland
The Main Event! Both of these fighters are wanting and need a win. Cannonier is a huge fighter that has massive power. Cannonier is a good fighter overall if he can avoid mental mistakes. I do think Strickland can land more shots on Cannonier pushing the pace.
