UFC VEGAS 50 DFS BREAKDOWN

Thiago Santos VS Magomed Ankalaev- Main Event time! Anklalaev is a massive favorite, and the upside is there for him. He is for sure the future of the division and possibly champ. He can stuff takedowns and the striking is absolutely nasty. Ankalaev is the better fighter in all aspects of this fight. Santos can land a power punch but the time is going down hill for him and don't see this happening. I love Ankalaev with ease here.

Marlon Moraes VS Yadong Song- The CO-Main Event! Moraes has fallen off in his career and coming off of three loses in a row. Yadong is durable as can be with his chin and has nasty striking making a name for himself. Song is limitless and see him handling this fight with ease not looking back. Moraes is not the same fighter that he use to be. Moraes can be good for the first round but after that, it was downhill from there. Yadong can with this fight and love his upside.

Alex Caceres VS Sodiq Yusuff- Great fight. Caceres is coming off wins while Yusuff is coming off a loss. Caceres has improved his game for sure. Sodiq is a nasty striker and has the power in his hands. Yusuff should be able to escape the grappling and has good takedown defense including landing massive shots against Alex. This is a nice bounce back spot for Yusuff to get in the win column.

Khalil Rountree VS Karl Roberson- Both fighters have close records. Robertson has two loses and has decent striking, but he got submitted the past two losses. Rountree is a good fighter who has all the tools to win this. The stance and grappling is good for him in this fight. Rountree is unpredictable but my predication for this fight is win.

Drew Dober VS Terrance McKinney- Here we go, Mckinney is already back from getting a win last week! This man is an excellent athlete and fighter! Mckinney has been on a roll while Dober is coming off two losses. This is a tough fight for Mckinney overall and his toughest test. Dober is a nasty striker and a vet in the game and can knockout anyone in the cage. I can see Dober going for the kill. Mckinney will have to go for the takedown and that is his edge. This is a super close fight because Mckinney has the knockout power and grappling to sneak one out. If this fight goes the distance which it has never happened recently for Mckinney and that is scary. Close fight but if this goes to a war, Dober can win this.

Bruno Silva VS Alex Pereira- Nasty fight! Peria are both on win streaks. The kickboxing is there for Peria and one of the best striking fighters in the game in which he was a glory kickboxing champ. Peria has the better frame and reach is in his favor. The takedown defense is what scares me by far. Silva can knockout anyone but, Peria can hang with him there and don't see Bruno going for the takedown in which he has not landed a takedown his whole UFC career. I like Peria here to win this fight overall with the striking and landing Silva his first knockout loss.

Matt Semelsberger VS AJ Fletcher- Good fight. Fletcher is coming from DWCS and looked amazing. The wrestling for Fletcher is there. Matt though is no pushover and has the striking to kill. The power is there for Matthew and the huge reach advantage is great for him. This is a tough debut for Fletcher, and I like Matthew to take over. The volume for Matt is all the way up there in top tier and Fletcher won't be able to handle it.

JJ Aldrich VS Gillian Robertson- What a fight! JJ has excellent boxing, and the stance is legit for her. JJ is in the same camp with Maverick in which Maverick beat Gillian. I love her striking with the nasty skills along with the boxing aspect like I stated above. Gillian is a vet and gate keeper; she has the grappling and a fighter to be in the game much longer. Gillian can get a submission at any moment in time. Robertson has the huge reach advantage, but JJ will keep this fight on the feet which is her path to victory.

Trevin Jones VS Javid Basharat -Good fight. Jones is a potential fighter and has the power in his game. Jones has little bit of grappling but has been inconsistent. AFter the first round, Jones will gas out. Javid is a fighter who can handle fights and looks great outside the game also. Both of these fighters have similar qualities. Overall, Javid has better performances and love his upside in this fight especially with grappling.

Damon Jackson VS Kamuela Kirk - Jackson has the ability to take this fight down to the mat. Kirk though has amazing potential and avenue to win with the striking. Interesting fight overall. The grappling can be there for Jackson so I see that, but Kirk can throw down the striking with the polished punches. I like Kirk overall here with the better game. Kirk can dismantle Jackson.

Sabina Mazo VS Miranda Maverick -Good fight. Maverick is a hype train but is on a two fight win streak along with Mazo. The striking is not the greatest from Maverick, but the overall skills are there for her. The length for her is in her favor and the strength is there for her. Mazo is just not there and the strength is not in her favor. Give me Maverick overall here.

Cody Brundage VS Dalcha Lungiambula -Decent fight overall but not my favorite. Brundage is a wrestler coming in from the outer regional scene. Brundage though has durability and can take a shot from the last fight against Knight pummeling him with elbows to the head which was out of hand from the referee. Brundage can hang in this fight with the wrestling aspect. Dalcha is a powerful fighter and can stuff the takedowns. I like Dalcha overall just based on the better game and x factor.

Guido Cannetti VS Kris Moutinho -Bad fight overall and not a fan of it but here we go. Kris is a tough fighter and should be able to handle this fight. We saw him look durable and decent despite the loss to Malley. Guido is a striker and can land a knockout shot here. I like Guido more so based on the experience and loving the striking ability more so than Kris.

Tafon Nchukwi VS Azamat Murzakanov- First fight with both guys coming off of DWCS. Tafa jas jumped from middleweight to light heavy weight now. Tafon will be the bigger fighter in this fight while Azamat can use his skill to make up for it. I love the footwork and boxing skills for Azamat. Along with the grappling, Azamat can win in this battle especially with Tafon struggling with it.
